When Colleen Vaderlinden isn’t gardening, she's teaching others how to do so. She's gardened in everything from a single window box to a small borrowed plot, and currently rests her garden clogs on 1/4 of an acre in the suburbs of Detroit. She wrote about organic gardening and vegetable-growing for Treehugger from 2011-2012 and The Spruce from 2008 to 2014.
