"Invention Nation" Premieres Tonight, The Science Channel

Invention Nation hosts Chris Martin (left), Micah Donovan, and Nobu Adilman work on constructing a wind turbine during a visit to Woodhenge in Adams Center, N.Y. Jim Juczak, of Woodhenge and Steve Spence, of Green-Trust developed a prototype of a do-it-yourself wind turbine. Woodhenge is an off-grid, renewable energy, alternative building and sustainable agriculture learning center in Northern NY.

Hop aboard their veggie-fueled bus and follow Micah, Chris, and Nobu across America as they hunt for the nation's most amazing grassroots eco-inventions, whether it's a human-powered car or a solar panel made from used CDs.

The guys will be giving us an inside look into the lives of these MacGyvers—regular folks who decided to solve day-to-day problems using only their noggin and the desire to tread lightly on the environment. The show premieres tonight at 10pm (ET/PT) on The Science Channel.::Invention Nation
