Bonnie Alter wrote for TreeHugger from 2006 to 2016, covering sustainability and green design from London, England, where she now lives,  enjoying all the pleasures of the city, including becoming an avid country walker, a culture vulture and garden lover. 




 Prior to moving to London, Alter worked as a city planner, a trade union advisor, and an arts administrator.


 University of Toronto, Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology.
