The Nature Conservancy is calling for riders to join their team for the TD Five Boro Bike Tour in New York City.
One of the largest bike tours in North America, the event offers 32,000 riders the opportunity to cruise traffic-free streets of NYC's five boroughs: Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island. The tour is held on May 4, 2014 and covers 40 miles. This will be the 37th year for the annual event.
Standard registration for the ride is sold out, but it's not too late to join teams with one of the bike tour's charity partners, like The Nature Conservancy. By joining their team, you're committing to raise $1000 to support The Nature Conservancy's work and bike education in New York City. In return, you'll get a VIP early start time, breakfast and lunch, a Nature Conservancy cycling jersey and an invitation to a special prep class.
