Davies wrote about urbanism, architecture, design, and technology for Treehugger from 2009-2012. He was a writer and editor for WIRED for six years. At WIRED, he launched the transportation section and led editorial coverage of everything from autonomous vehicles to infrastructure funding. Davies is also the author of the upcoming book Driven: The Race to Create the Autonomous Car, which will be published by Simon & Schuster in January 2021.
Davies received a bachelor’s degree in history and French from Macalester College.
