The Week in Pictures: BP Oil Spill Stopped (For Now), Brazilian City Ends Hunger, Invisible Tree House, and More (Slideshow)
BP has started the pressure test on the leaking oil well in the Gulf of Mexico. While the test is running, the flow of oil is stopped, for the first time since April. In other news this week, NASA released dramatic satellite photos of the north branch of Greenland's Jakobshavn glacier that show it retreated one mile overnight(!); Jim Bohlen, one of the co-founders of Greenpeace, died on Monday, a day after his 84th birthday; and an almost invisible tree house opens in Sweden.
