I wish there was a Nudge in every city. It's a whole new way of shopping, or actually, it's not just about shopping, but rather about living, and style. Nudge is the new eco lifestyle experience, which consists of a shop, a showroom, a consultancy and a meeting place where you can exchange ideas on how to live better or let yourself be inspired by others. Where is this you might ask? In Helsinki, Finland, where Nudge opened its doors this week, with furniture designed by Ryan Frank.
You know Ryan from his cork iPad, iPhone, Kindle + Laptop sleeves and his funky recycled hangers made from newspapers or the Isabella Straw Totem Stool. Matteria the, until now, online shop for good design + smart materials, opened their showroom at Nudge presenting Frank's new shelf Hackney.

Apart from Matteria, 6 other responsible companies (Bionature, Iduns' Apple, Unkai, IpanaJamit, MamboGambo and Yalo) are now living under the Nudge roof, offering a sort of one stop shopping experience exhibiting a range of stylish eco lifestyle products from cosmetics to fashion, shoes and furniture. You can find the Lace Collection, sustainable wood decoration for Christmas, bamboo products by Ekobo, flower pots made of cork or the HIK! glasses made from reclaimed beer bottles and plenty more.
Nudge is located at Yrjönkatu 30, in the design district in the center of Helsinki.
