Tiny Transformer Apartment Has Moving Walls, Dropping Beds and More

TreeHugger founder Graham Hill is trying to radically reduce his footprint and live happily with less space, less stuff and less waste on less money, but with more design. He calls it "LifeEdited." You can help: Enter the design competition and win up to $70,000 in prizes and possibly design the apartment!
LifeEdited contributor Michaelangelo shows us a film clip from 1984 Italian movie Ragazzo di campagna that gives Gary Chang's Domestic Transformer a run for its money.

He also points us to a completely random scene from Jacques Tati's Mon Oncle that appears to have no relevance whatsoever, but I love Jacques Tati so I repeat it here anyways.

If you want relevant Tati, you need to see his Citroen R4 that turns into a camper, with the front grill as barbeque grill and shaver in the steering wheel. Now that is a transformer.
