Simple And Cute Vertical Garden With PET Bottle Tops Idea From Brazil

Brazilians are savvy in giving PET bottles second lives, turning them into everything from roof solar water heaters to zero electricity light bulbs and awesome vertical gardens.

Architect and landscape artist Soraia Vitiello came up with one more cool idea to turn bottles into a vertical gardening space and shows how to do it.

The design, as shown at UOL Brazil, is fairly simple: cut the bottles tops, put caps on, fill them with plants and hang them from a metal structure with the typical pot hanging accessories you can find in any greenhouse.

With the bottoms you can make mini pots for succulent plants, which need little water and care.

You can find a step by step guide at UOL Brazil.
