Second Life Meets Architecture for Humanity

Architecture for Humanity invited a group of architects to design model homes for Biloxi, Mississippi, severely damaged by Katrina. Residents could choose the most appealing model (six different ones were built) and with the support of Oprah's Angel Network and others, the homes are now being finished. The entry from Marlon Blackwell not only got built in reality, but they also modelled it in Second Life, which now becomes a new medium for architectural expression. ::Architecture for Humanity
