My Space: Popup Room for Kids to Play With Their Friendsters
Kids get to have all the fun. Designer Liya Mairson has designed My Space "specifically for small urban apartments which lack the space for a play room....in its closed mode [it] takes minimal space and can be stored behind a door or under a single bed."
But there are flatpack ideas here that could scale to adult size, and I want that Ericofon.
Its got pull out work surfaces and tables, storage and provides privacy. Liya writes:
Children can operate My Space on their own, open, close and move it without adult assistance. My Space encourages children to use their own toys and props and bring to life imaginary worlds.
I look forward to a grown-up version. More at Liya Mairson
