Flatpack Wonders From The University of Oregon

As always, the student work at ICFF is the most interesting. Students at The University of Oregon's product design school developed a line of flatpack furniture; some of them look like they might barely carry the weight, but others look IKEA-ready.

Most flatpack furniture is, well, flat; chairs are often not that comfortable. I liked this chair that turns it on its edge to get a curved sitting surface.

A lifecycle analysis of each item is printed into the cork mat on the floor.

Two of the students explain the work, right next to a loading area with a backup beeper.
