Christmas Tree Made of 100 Bicycles Lights Up in Australia

Standing 23 feet tall is a strangely gorgeous holiday tree made of bits of bikes. It is installed at The Rocks in Sydney Australia, one of many trees made from recycled materials. While it is on display for just a month, it took a full eight weeks to create! AOL News writes that all the bikes used were donated by a recycling company, the frames spray-painted green and the wheels are multi-colored to look like ornaments.

After the display comes down on December 28th, the bike parts will be recycled.

You can check out loads of photos of the TreeCycle on The Rocks Facebook page.
