Sophisticated yet Funky Looks with Recovered Vintage Garments by Ana Walsh

One of our favorite green clothing designers in Buenos Aires, Ana Walsh, has come up with a new collection for her 'Fashion Archeology' line and now makes beautiful items for children too.

In addition to earning points for recycling vintage clothes, Walsh charms with her exquisite taste and ability to produce a sophisticated, yet funky modern look. If you're in Buenos Aires, taking a peek is a must. If you're not, look ahead to find clothes recovery well done and take ideas.

Previously featured in TreeHugger, Ana Walsh is a former fashion producer and PR executive turned designer that has been working with the delicate restoring and recycling of vintage fabrics since 2006 under his line Fashion Archeology.

Even when Sami has questioned the green factor on vintage products, Walsh's specialty is the recovery of garments that have been in your family for a long time, so the 'travel' factor of antiques is not her problem.

Under the same concept, this year Walsh has come up with a new line of clothes for children.

Ana Walsh's clothes can be purchased in the stores Almacen de Belleza (Nicaragua 4835, Palermo) and Biutika (Gorriti 5868, Palermo) in Buenos Aires, or at her showroom (Jorge Luis Borges 1667 PB 3, Palermo) with a previous appointment (write to archeology @ anawalsh . com). She has also shipped to Uruguay (Diablito, at La Barra, Punta del Este) and France (Le Bon Marche, 24 Rue de Sevres, Paris).
