Reusable Tote Mimics "Thank You" Plastic Bag

© Kara Brodgesell

While browsing BoingBoing I came across this clever reusable tote made to look like the ubiquitous "Thank You" plastic bag. San Francisco-based designer Lauren DiCioccio is selling these through The Workshop Residence. The bags are machine embroidered in red or blue on white taffeta and retail for $35.00.

If the price is a little steep for you to make a statement about reusing and recycling perhaps this tutorial on making embroidering your own "Thank You" tote will serve as inspiration.
