If you caught our Best of Green Awards, you already know we are fans Rogan Gregory and Scott Mackinlay Hahn's casual wear collection Loomstate. The New York-based label has brought their design talent and sustainable processes to Bloomingdale's Surf Lodge collection in honor of the 40th anniversary of Earth Day. More photos, below the fold.

The exclusive Loomstate for Surf Lodge collection launched Wednesday at Bloomingdale's and featured custom designed surfboards by artist Robb Havassy. In partnership with Details Magazine, Bloomingdale's donated $30,000 to the Surfrider Foundation. We couldn't make it to the launch so Bloomingdale's lets us know how the event went, below.

Guests were greeted at Bloomingdale's on the metro level with a setting reminiscent of a Montauk surf shack. Surf Boards artistically designed by Rogan Gregory were on display and on sale for $750 a board to benefit the Surfrider Foundation. Designers Rogan Gregory and Scott MacKinlay Hahn were on hand--looking chic--to help shoppers with their selections, provide styling tips, and talk about their eagerness to hit the waves this weekend.
