TOMS Shoes and Charity:Water Team Up on Limited-Edition Philanthropic Kicks

TOMS Shoes, known for their one for one mission: with every pair of shoes purchased they give a pair to a child in need, and Charity:Water are a match made in philanthropic, eco-fashion heaven; In the footwear collaboration TOMS provides the canvas for a water pattern inspired by Charity:Water's clean water projects in developing nations. The two limited-edition shoes will fund a hand-drilled well in North West Ethiopia. View the other brighter shoe, after the jump.

Five dollars from each shoe will go towards a clean water project in the village of Sekura in North West Ethiopia which is home to 540 people. According to the Charity:Water press release, Sekura is one of the largest Ethiopian villages that does not currently have access to clean water. The hand-dug well, funded from the shoe collaboration, will provide residents with clean water. Details on the kicks, below.

The Map Shoe is a heather gray Classic made from sustainable fabric with a tonal map pattern of Africa and jerry-can lining and the Water Shoe is a vibrant blue Classic made from sustainable fabric with a multi-tone water illustration.

The TOMS Shoes for charity: water styles retail for $58 and will be available exclusively on TOMS.com, but only until enough funds have been raised for the well.
