The Owl 100% Recycled Laptop Backpack

Some very cool laptop backpacks are out on the market with more arriving every day, and luckily, there are an increasing number that are made from recycled materials - many of which you can make yourself. This particular backpack touts that it is made from 100% recycled materials.

Leeds is again up front with a number of functional and stylist additions to their Owl line of 51% & 100% recycled material bags, portfolios and totes (see certificate from Leeds website). One of the new items is the Owl 100% Recycled Deluxe Compu-Backpack. Made from 100% post-consumer recycled material (product label affirms claim) the backpack holds most 17″ laptops.

The certificate states that it is 85% recycled PET, and 15% of the content is from pre-consumer industral source.

It looks a bit stiff to carry around, but that is because of the significant padding for your laptop. Loads of compartments are available to carry your other doo-dads.

There are quite a few different styles of bags, sleeves and totes made from part or all recycled materials as well.
