To market, to market. From Pittsburgh, PA-based handbag design studio Moop comes a carry-all bag for your big, bulky items--books, laptops, diapers, and more.

Made with organic cotton canvas and twill, from organic cotton grown in the USA, the Market Bag, as it is called, is dyed with vegetable-based dyes in pretty hues, from Rosewood to Provincial Blue, and comes outfitted with multiple interior pockets to keep you organized.

Moop is committed to keeping production within their Pittsburgh, PA-based studio: once the fabric arrives on big bolts, it is then hand-cut, pressed, marked for stitching, and stitched; threads are carefully trimmed; bags are inspected, then packed with care and shipped to each customer.

The company plans to expand organic cotton offerings; their 'Market Bag' is currently the only style available in this textile. Their waxed canvas--used in their Waxed Canvas Messenger and pictured below--is made by a seventh generation family business that has been manufacturing in the USA since 1838.

The company values the interaction with each individual consumer; for this reason, they do not offer wholesale. They remain in contact with their customers, as well, and Moop believes that building relationships--beyond the mere purchase of a product--is the key element in establishing a small sustainable business.
