If talent were a commodity, the Portland, Oregon-by-way-of-Tuscon designer could be accused of hoarding. Katz's Spring/Summer 2009 collection, her fourth, is another ace in the hole, from the fluid draping of the two-toned Odette wrap dress in organic French terry, to the silk-lined, men's-inspired Tulip skirt in hemp/organic cotton.

The two-sided, ribbon-tie Wish top, in an obsidian hemp/tencel blend, is a summer must-have that can be thrown over dark-wash stovepipe jeans or metallic leggings. Another piece that is bound to garner double-takes: The strappy hemp/organic cotton Ode to Summer dress with a trio of buttons running down the empire bustline. Rock this frock with your favorite Mohops and hit the boardwalk.
