Repurposing for a purpose is the ethos behind Seven Smooches, a children's apparel company run by two moms who have seven—count 'em!—bambinos between them.

The one-of-a-kind, made-to-order pieces are divided into two lines: Fall/Winter, which comprises coats, cardigans, hats, and mittens made from recycled woolens, and Spring/Summer, a collection of dresses, skirts, board shorts, bonnets, and sun hats sewn from preloved pillowcases and vintage feed sacks. For babes-in-arms, Seven Smooches also offers hand-felted cotton-and-wool blankets with animal and zodiac designs, as well as finger puppets crafted from felted wool pieces.
