Teams of fashion students from Parsons The New School for Design went head-to-head in a daylong fashion competition last week to create conceptual installations embodying the Louis Vuitton brand. Passersby looked on as the young designers deconstructed and re-imagined pieces by Louis Vuitton Artistic Director Marc Jacobs. Each garment shows the beauty of handmade, reconstructed haute couture and an example of where fashion meets art.
