National Association of Sustainable Fashion Designers (SFD), a non-profit founded by Jamila Payne in 2008, is launching a year-long webinar series with Fair Trade USA and Eco Fashion World, called "Fashion Ideas," dedicated to helping fashion entrepreneurs flourish in the sustainable fashion sector.

The upcoming session, taking pace on February 9, 2011 at 6pm (EST), will focus on how to produce fair trade clothing. Nicole Bassett, Sustainability Director of Prana, who spearheaded the climbing- and yoga-apparel brand's sustainability efforts, will host and take viewers through the steps of creating fair trade clothing, including how to select local partners and maintain quality standards.
