Matt & Nat Introduces Samsara, a Collection of Vegan Bags, Accessories With Heart

The best things in life come in pairs, like Ben and Jerry, Chip and Dale, Siegfried and Roy, and Batman and Robin. Another coupling that should never be torn asunder: Matt & Nat, the much buzzed-about Canadian purveyor of luxury vegan goods that will not only be swearing off PVC come fall, but has also upped and popped its very own mini-me, with more-diminutive price tags to match.
The bouncing baby collection has been christened Samsara, which means "rebirth" in Sanskrit and plays off "Sam & Sara," another twosome we could get down with. Ranging from $40 to $155, the new line of bags, wallets, clutches, and belts costs less than its progenitor's high-end fare, while retaining Matt & Nat's signature pebbled textures, tone-on-tone stitching, and hardware details, in stalwart colors like black, white, and milk chocolate, as well as new neutral plum.
A dollar from each bag goes to charity, more specifically Enough, EarthSave, WSPA, and the Canadian Women's Foundation. How much goes to each non-profit, however, is up to the peanut gallery to decide; you have until midnight on December 31, 2009 to vote for your favorite.
