Three words, party people: Oh. My. God. When I first spotted Swedish Hasbeens' new fall boot collection over at Kaight's blog, I spent the rest of the evening scraping the remains of my jaw off the floor. (Note to self: Invoice the Scandinavian clog-makers for one sharply chiseled jaw.)

With a color palette inspired by the late '70s—think eye-popping moss, plum, and tangerine hues—the cold-weather heralds include a jodhpur boot, a lace-up boot, a knee-high boot, and an ankle boot, all of which telegraph a polished, urbane, and devastatingly European sophistication. The chunky-heeled footwear is ethically made to order in the land of meatballs and BILLY bookcases from sustainably harvested wood and vegetable-tanned, natural-grained leathers.

Pricing is yet to be determined, but the shoes are expected to make landfall sometime in the next few weeks. We suggest stalking Kaight for a first glimpse of these beauts. I know I'll be.
