Biojewelry

Twenty years ago there was a movie set twenty years in the future. In Max Headroom one of the subplots involved a bodybank, where people sold body parts for money. Now it seems fact is desperate to follow fiction. For, as many before us have reported, trade in body parts might soon be a legal reality. Biojewelry is a project, by a couple of British Uni students. Based on a research project into growing bone tissue in labs, the student conceived the notion of lovers passing each other a ring, made from bone (grown) from each other. A ‘getting-closer-to-thee’ type thing. Check out their website - pretty experimental in its own way. ::BioJewelry [by WM] Thanks to Pat B for the tip.
