Artist Transforms Recycled Sweaters Into Festive Winter Coats

There is nothing like a warm and cozy sweater coat during the holidays. Enter reconstructed sweater coats made by hand from recycled garments by Jill Kerttula, a Wisconsin-based artist who sells her one-off creations on Etsy under the label Jill2day.

Kerttula finds all of her materials at second hand and thrift stores, making each piece one-of-a-kind. They are wearable art pieces, are all pre-washed, of course, and have a handcrafted aesthetic. Find more designs by Jill2day on Etsy.
