Permaculture Principles: Nature's Design for Our Living World
1. Observe and interact
Every microcosmic system and situation is different; by taking time to look around and engage with nature, we can learn to maximize each individual garden, farm, or other site. In short: By doing some thoughtful observation and homework first, we'll have a better shot at not having to spend time re-doing anything later. It all starts with smart design, and smart design starts with systemic observation, and careful interaction.
