The California firm of Marcy Wong Donn Logan first impressed with their house for Mitch Kapor,, which, due to its size, kicked off a controversy that made it from Berkeley to The New York Times.
After this project, doing an adaptive reuse of a giant Albert Kahn-designed Ford assembly plant is almost easy.
Their projects use corrugated metal, exposed concrete and wood: simple, basic materials presented beautifully.
