New York Green Fashion Week: Luis Valenzuela Crafts Romantic Eco-Couture

If Marie Antoinette's tailor crafted her 18th century-style couture from trash it would look something like Luis Valenzuela's elaborate gowns handmade from lampshades and chandelier crystals. On Sunday, the Miami-based fashion designer showed his spring 2011 collection during New York Fashion Week at The GreenShows.

I sat down with the designer after the show to ask him a few questions about his inspiration for the collection, more about the textiles, and also where the lovely couture gowns can be found post-runway.
