Plus, don't miss the Fall 2011 lineup for Suzanne Rae. Follow all our green fashion coverage for New York Fashion Week here.

School's Out For the Summer

It took 4,000 silk cocoons to make this one-of-a-kind cocoon skirt by CPALI, a non-profit initiative dedicated to preventing deforestation in Madagascar.

St. James sourced this fiber using Source4Style and it would be a great addition to FIT's Eco Fashion exhibit.

It's matched here with a vintage floral racerback tank and cinched at the waist with a Juewls Amelia pin.
