Laurent notes in his blog on the mission: "Urban foxes are usually seen as scavengers, feeding mainly on scraps or leftovers in rubbish bins, but in my experience I have often seen foxes specialized in hunting squirrels, wood pigeons or ducks." This vixen brought 2 cormorants, 1 mallard duck, 1 moorhen, 1 grey squirrel and 1 eel back to her den during the time Laurent tracked her.

Her hopes of catching a Canadian goose chick were dashed when one of the parents went on the offensive.
