Invasive species, we all know, pose a huge threat to biodiversity. Still, some surprising invaders are too cute, cuddly, or just plain beautiful to hate.



Next to humans, the house cat is one of the most adaptable and successful invasive species on the planet. In places with delicate ecosystems and on islands with few natural predators, the common house cat's superior hunting ability represents a serious threat to native species.
