Our photo contributor Rob Kanter writes that he took this photograph of a young muskrat in Boneyard Creek at Scott Park in Champaign, Illinois. Muskrats (Ondatra zibethicus) make their homes in wetlands, and can live in either ocean or freshwater areas.
