Our photo contributor Kristen Finnegan writes that this snake is “a little cranky and waking up slowly on our house's foundation.” Eastern milk snakes (Lampropeltis triangulum triangulum) are native to North America, and can be found as far north at Ontario and as far south as Alabama.
