This beautiful deer was photographed at the Seneca Army Depot in New York. According to the photographer, "The white deer of Seneca Army Depot are not albinos, but a recessive form of the typically brown-furred white-tailed deer." The deer are leucistic, meaning they lack any pigmentation in their fur, but still have normal coloring in their eyes (albino animals typically also have pink eyes).
