The puffin is not usually ranked as a graceful, elegant bird. Its clownish beak gives it a comical look, and its relatively short wings add to the humor as it tries to take off from the water with mad flapping. But, when frozen in time, one can start to appreciate the uniqueness of this beautiful seabird. This horned puffin was spotted in Katmai National Park, Alaska.
