When it comes to determining the exact age of some of these creatures, the science is fuzzy, so scientists offer their best estimate for animals more than a century old--but whether you're looking at the world's oldest polar bear or longest-living dog (that's one of the contenders, Max, at left), these are 10 animals that have lived (or are still living) a really, really long time.
