London's Top Sustainable Hotspots
Strolling through Spitalfield's Market, Cate pointed us towards Montezuma's, a chocolate doing things a little differently. Cate explained that the shop wanted to be as eco-friendly as possible but found that fair trade chocolate wasn't usually of the quality they wanted to be the best chocolate shop in Britain. So instead, they work with small farmers and co-ops that raise high quality cocoa in an environmentally responsible way. They also skip hefty marketing budgets and instead donate to local schools and charities. We sampled a piece of dark chocolate and it definitely was top notch.
