How Deep are Lakes and Oceans? (Educational Webcomic!)

Once in a while, geek-deity Randall Munroe of XKCD creates special extra-large webcomics that are more educational than funny (see for example his one about radiation doses). His most recent one shows the depth (to scale) of various lakes and oceans, even including the Deepwater Horizon rig and oil well.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that blue whales can dive deeper than nuclear submarines. Nature FTW!
