This baby Malagasy jumping rat -- which will grow to about the size of a rabbit with the power to leap 3 feet in the air -- was born at Wildlife Conservation Society's Prospect Park Zoo, but usually they call Madagascar home. Also known as the Votsovotsa, the nocturnal rodent only produces one pup a year (two is possible but rare): Habitat loss as well as this breeding characteristic make it highly endangered.
