There's a particular beach near my home town that not a lot of people know about, thankfully. Sheltered from wind and hidden from the road, there is a natural bridge, and at low tide, a spectacular set of tide pools. I find it a wonderful microcosm of the incredible sea life of the central coast from the creatures thriving in the giant kelp forests just off shore to the pelicans that glide in formation above. I return here as often as I can to find a bit of calm.
