Best and Worst of 2009: Wild and Weird New Species Discovered in 2009

This little chameleon was discovered in the Magombera Forest of Tanzania, but that's not even half of the story. The scientist that made the discovery was not looking for new species. Instead, he was conducting a survey of the monkey population as part of his conservation research.


While walking through the forest, he startled a snake which vomited up its meal. This snake vomit turned out to contain a new species!
