What happens when you drop artists in the Arctic to witness climate change first hand? They produce stunning work.

Between 2007 and 2009, the Cape Farewell Art & Science expeditions brought 25 artists to the high Arctic and into the Andes. Their responses explore the physical, emotional and political dimensions of a complex and changing world stressed by human activity.

And now, these responses are on display for the public at the Sheila C. Johnson Design Center (SJDC) at Parsons The New School for Design, in the exhibit "U-N-F-O-L-D," on view September 30 through December 15.
