Also at Bodhitree Farm's stand were these Korean melons, chameh. I've seen these around a couple times, finally buying one after shooting this photo. Touted as refreshingly sweet, I wasn't all that impressed eating it sliced raw. I imagine though the crispness of the chameh might prove an interesting textural foil for salads or salsa, perhaps done in a way that green papaya might be used.
On the right, from Keith's Farm is garlic that they've long billed as the best garlic in the world. That's a pretty tall order, but they may well be right. It really is excellent.
