On the left are more greens from Windfall Farms, a very attractive alternative to your usual sprouts.

On the right, from Bodhitree Farm in New Jersey, are pimiento de padron, a pepper variety I've seen for the first time at Union Square. Yet another reason to love this market, small producers bring in unexpected produce.

The best way to shop here: Come in with an open mind to what you find, balanced by the number of meals you're buying for, and tempered by the fact that without some discipline you can easily end up buying more than you need just because it all looks so good.
