Alice Waters has been cooking up great green food in her restaurant, Chez Panisse, for nearly four decades. Never mind that she helped revolutionize the way our country thinks about its food and where it comes from; the reason she continues to lead the food zeitgeist is that she's a great chef. Whether she's cooking the best of the season at Chez Panisse or writing great cookbooks (all without a microwave, no less), one thing's for sure: We'd really love her to cook us lunch. --Collin Dunn
