As a 2010 TED Prize winner, Jamie Oliver, the charming Brit had the opportunity to let the world know what he wants to do to encourage positive change. In his touching TED Wish presentation, he explores the connection between obesity and our grim relationship with food. "I wish for your help to create a strong, sustainable movement to educate every child about food, inspire families to cook again, and empower people everywhere to fight obesity," declares Oliver. After working hard to reform school meals in the U.K., culinary talent, cookbook author, and social activist Oliver is taking America by storm. Last month, he went prime-time with Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution on ABC, a reality show in which he implores lunch ladies, principals, and kids to take serious look at what's in their cafeterias. The to redesign our kids' bond with food and overhaul a faltering system won't be easy, but if anyone is up for the challenge, it's Oliver.
