10 No-Bake Desserts, From Cookies, Cakes, Pies, Puddings, and More

There are few things better in the summer than a freshly-baked pie using the fruits of the season. But there are few things worse in the summer than an appliance turned to 350F degrees radiating blistering heat for an hour. What's the dessert-desiring dinner planner to do? There are only so many nights that vanilla ice cream and fresh berries can continue to satisfy. With that in mind, here's a collection of 10 super fabulous summer desserts, no baking required.

1. Dark Chocolate Agave Cream Pie

This is a beautiful dish (pictured above) and a sweet recipe from Samat Jain. It puts some great wholesome ingredients to work -- silken tofu, dark chocolate, agave -- in basically a ganache formulation. So, no oven needed, but some double boiling required. As pictured it's not vegan, but using vegan chocolate and whipped non-cream, this dreamy pie can be as kind to animals as it is to your taste buds.
