There is a lot more to the London Underground than just a 150 year old subway; the organization has had a really profound effect on typography, graphic design and architecture. In fact, it was revolutionary. It is a fascinating story that I have always been interested in, so I used the anniversary here to do a slideshow that has almost nothing to do with the actual 150th anniversary, but that traces the influence throughout the 20th century.
